I've spent twenty years in financial services risk, across Freddie Mac, Capco, SunGard, and Infosys, working at the intersection of technology, data, and regulation. Most of that time was spent translating dense regulatory expectations into governance that teams could actually run, not binders that sit on a shelf.

For the last several years my focus has been AI. As enterprises rushed to adopt it, I saw the same gap everywhere: governance that either blocked innovation or waved it through with no real control. I work on the harder middle path, guardrails that make AI defensible to auditors and examiners while keeping the business moving.

Today I advise financial institutions and regulated enterprises on AI and data governance, contribute to the NIST AI RMF Overlay Working Group, and am building RiskAlmanac, a platform that turns AI governance from static checklists into living architectural maps of risk and control.

I speak on AI governance, including at ISACA Future Tech DC, and have a forthcoming book chapter with the University of the District of Columbia School of Business.
